My very first story wasn't much of a read. It was called "Mickey and Minnie" and it was a barely legible, picture-accompanied account of the eponymous mice's seaside adventures. The plot was contrived, the characters were unoriginal, and there were potential copyright issues, but I had nowhere to go but up when it came to my literary career.
As my writing style has grown slightly more sophisticated, I've learned to adapt it into several different formats. The freelance work I've done over the past few years has mainly been editorial and instruction-based, while my side projects have been in poetry and fiction. This site serves as a collection of some of my published articles along with my blog. Excerpts from the articles have been broken down by category and include links to the full text. UPDATE: My blog has been moved to extraordinarywriter.wordpress.com. For more new material and highlights of the old stuff, you may want to go there. Or not. It's up to you.
